Default Equipment Master for PvP-only characters

Equipment Masters for PvP-only characters
These various NPCs, placed at the Great Temple of Balthazar, will hand out various equipments for PvP-only characters, provided that those items have been unlocked.
NOTE: All skins are standard PVP, nothing spectacular.

1. Balthazar's Armor Smith
- All types of Armor sets

2. Balthazar's Rune Keeper
- All types of Runes

3. Balthazar's Weapons Master
- Swords, Hammers, Axes
- Bows, Daggers
- All weapon Upgrades
- Shields

4. Balthazar's Archmage
- Staves, Rods
- Staves Upgrades
- Focus Items

5. Balthazar's Sage
- Change 2nd Profession
- Usable by PvE characters as well

--------------------------------------
(A few people suggested that this one is un-necessary for the PvP-only characters)
(One suggested that Balthazar's Faction can be used to "buy" dyes for PvP-only characters)
(Sir Mad does not agree with this)
6. Balthazar's Dyes Distributer
- Dyes

All retrieved equipment will be customized to the PvP character who collected them.

Discuss.

I agree with the Balthazar Equipment Master idea. Sometimes I want to change my build without having to re-create the whole character just because I need a different rune or different type of axe. The Uber Quick creation is a little weird.. you can just skip it if it really takes up that much time.

I haven't even PvPed until this week, and even I think this is necessary. It is incredibly annoying to change around a PvP character right now. Oops...messed up grabbed the wrong weapon, now I have to delete this character and remake it.

This suggestion could also use the make your own template idea. Saving your builds so that you can just quick choose it when you need it.

Revised the first post of this thread.

Now, let us collect all those "Yes" votes and pray hard that ANET will implement this? ANET would only make changes if there are enough demand for it.

/signed twice for both accounts.

Even after months of knowing exactly what you want on PvP charactars that you're rerolling, you still make an occational mistake, and end up getting pissed off at having to reroll it again because you have a wrong rune, or the wrong headgear - or even forgot a suffix mod on a weapon.

I would prefer this to my idea (linked to in the OP) but I feel that my idea is eaiser to implement. But both options would kill all the advantages that PvE characters get over PvP characters, except for looks.

/signed for everything but the dyes. I think that PvE and PvP characters should be equal, but if you want to look good then you ahve to be PvE. Basically it should be:
PvP=all max stats with crappy looks
PvE=all max stats with crappy to awesome looks.

Having to reroll after making mistakes or if I want to change my build gets tedious and annoying.

I completely agree. Rerolling is a huge pain, especially since you can't save builds and 1/2 the people don't wait for you.

One thing I would like to add though, make the profession changer work for both pvp-only characters and pve characters. It's so annoying to have to leave pvp island just to change secondaries.

this would take a lot of work to program. I think they have better things to do than this just cause people are too lazy to recreate.

/signed, except for the dye trader (that's just unnesecary)

Actually, if you know anything about programming, they could probably just modify the classes/functions used for the pve equillivents of these crafters.

And if you've ever been in HA, there is already a rune trader there (but it accepts gold). It's not like it's some huge task, and I honeslty have no idea why anyone would be opposed to game improvements. Devs get paid for this sort of thing, you know...

Yes, yes, please! Anything that can allow me to change a char without having to reroll every 10 seconds. It's crazy that when making and changing builds the only way to do it is actually to log right out of the game, then long back in again (complete with typing password again etc) and then create a new character from scratch. Even worse if you just missed one rune or something, when you have to make an identical character all over again to change it. It's such an awkward system, a really crazy setup, and this could help to alleviate it a bit.

I'd like this very much, too often I need one more weapon than the pvp screen lets me bring, so i have to customize my greens to pvp chars >.<
